What was a joke turned out to be Zing Zang’s best performing post on social. We duped Zing Zang fans by announcing a Bloody Mary Ketchup (with a 9% alc/vol might I add). Our audience went NUTS on social, asking us where they could find the product.
On Facebook alone, this April Fools joke got 3400% more engagement than the average Zing Zang post, 740 likes, 232 comments, and 357 shares. All that for something I thought was punny and took me 10 minutes to Photoshop.
